A 15yr old that practices and researches as much as you bud, is no way a hack. Your well on your way already! Keep at it and ull be buildin and fixin with your eyes closed soon. Trust me bud, unless the girls grab you soon, LOL, then tack on a few more yrs

Well this weeking I am hopeing to get an hour or so with a retired welder I know. That will likely help my welding more then 10 hours by my self. Hopefully a few weekends with him, and lots of practice on my own time, will get me to be able to really start projects.

I think that would be the best thing you could ever do.

I never got a minute of training and after 30 years I'm still a hack, maybe just a decent hack

Self taught out of necessity, it would of been so much easier and less stressful to have even just a little training.
