I seem to remember that older Fords could be equipped with a 3pt "flywheel" attachment that allowed the PTO to power belt-driven equipment, including saws. Is my memory failing me?

Just curious. How was the pulley geared? For example, if the PTO was turning at 540 RPMs, how fast was the pulley turning?

Yes, the base price NOW on a Woodmizer LT10 is only $4K.The Kara looks very much like what I imagined but on a much bigger scale. It looks amazing but it looks very expensive. I think you can get a portable gas powered band saw for less than $5000.
Besides, how much of an excuse do you need to have TWO tractors?:laughing:
