Who would you like to see run for president / why?

Who would you like to see run for President and why/ Also who do you think would be a good running mate?

My choice would be:

Alfred E. Neuman for president (mad magazine guy)
Pat Paulsen for vice president ( from Rowan and Martins "Laugh in".

Neuman/Paulsen for president.

Laugh In is on the "Trio Channel" it is still holds up well after all these years,my daughter loves it. A lot of people do not know it,but Hee Haw was a "take off" of Laugh In.
Pat Paulsen was a regular on Laugh In who was always campaigning for president in a satirical way,he would make a speech and open up his dress jacket after a campaign speech and the inside lining was an American Flag.

So soon after the election of Gore and inauguration of Bush, I don't want to think about elections. I tell you one guy who has consistently impressed me though--Alan Keyes, the black conservative Republican who ran in the last two primaries. He is about the most articulate person and best debater I have ever seen. He has a Ph.D. from Harvard.

Naturally, I didn't figure Keyes had any chance at all of being considered as a serious candidate, but he was the only one who had what I considered a reasonable plan for campaign finance reform instead of the nonsense others "called" reform.

Yes, urban legend is a good description. Gore was elected in about 10 big cities and almost nowhere else.

I don't think Keyes has enough experience to be elected president, but he might be an interesting vp choice. Maybe he could help break the stranglehold the Democrats have always had on the black vote.

Our govenor of course./ No bull^%$t attitude and has a great sense of humor, and has no respect for the media( he calls them jackels).....Hmmmm running mate ... I'd have to say Charlton Heston, a staunch believer in our 2nd ammendment rights..Ventura- Heston...president/vice president
