Here is another bit of Hee Haw trivia. They would film a whole seasons worth of shows in about two weeks time. They would film all the cornfield bits at one time over a day or so, then move on to the next bit. After they had it all filmed they just spliced the parts together. Kept production costs down.
Honestly, I can't think of anyone who I would get excited about seeing run for POTUS.
