Still driving my 2008 Jeep Wrangler JKU with 6 speed manual

Learned to drive a stick on a VW bug then ordered a new 79 bronco with the 4speed with a granny 1st. Manual trucks starting with an 83 ranger all the way up to a '98 f250. I then bought an 01 f250 with an auto in 2011 because I couldn't find a good used one with the 6 speed. I still have it and with only 92k with the 7.3 it should last as long as me.
I do still drive a 2012 focus with a 5 speed to work and get almost 39 mpg on the computer. 165K on it and I need 1 more year out of it before retirement. Still the original clutch.

Our last manual vehicle was our 2017 Jeep Renegade. My wife insisted on getting a manual. When that got totalled in an accident about a year ago it just didn't make sense to get another manual vehicle. Very hard to find nowadays.

My 2019 Toyota HB is a manual. These kind of just basic cars with manual transmission are almost gone now (Toyota no longer offers this car with a MT). Of the few remaining most of them are sports cars or sports sedans with close gearing and low profile tires. Mazda 3, 2.5 S Premium being the exception.

My daily driver is a 2007 Audi A4 with a 6-speed manual. 135k miles on the original clutch.
Gosh! My '07 A4 has just a smidge under a quarter million miles on the original clutch! (246k IIRC)
Treat 'em right, they will last.

Truck's a stick,
RX-7 is a stick
SPL-311 Roadster is a stick
Wife's XC90 is an auto-box. She likes it.

If beauty is only skin deep,

I'ld skin that one!
