Who delivered your tractor

I have a question for all who own a John Deere tractor any model

Did the seller you bought the tractor from deliver your tractor?



OR



Did the service guy deliver your tractor?


Also what type of vehicle did they deliver it with?

My 2520 was delivered via a dealer owned rollback type truck. The driver is someone they have hired for just that purpose.

Mine was sold by the owner and delivered by a driver (I think it's his only job, but he could also be a tech) in a dealer-owned pickup (Ford F250?) with a large trailer.

Mine was delivered by the same guy I purchased the tractor from. I was kind of impressed he saw the sale out from start to finish. I really like my dealer. he brought it with a 20 foot 14K tilt bed trailer using tie down strapes not chians so it wouldn't get scratched pulled by GMC 3500 duramax.

Salesman that sold me the tractor. The dealership has a large roll back "wrecker' for delievering the cut and similar sized stuff.

Delievered it, made sure I understood each of the controls, demonstrated dismounting and mounting the backhoe, fel bucket and hyd functions.

My salesman delivered on a trailer pulled with a pickup. I guess my salesman is now out of work since the dealership just closed.

I actually bought direct from the Sales Manager. On the appointed day he spent about 30 -45 minutes with me going over various things, then took me out for introduction to the Service Manager (for smaller equipment) who spent about 1.5 hours or so going over operations, etc. The unit was then delivered about 20 minutes later on a large roll back float trailer owned by the dealership.

I have bought two diffenent machines over the last year. My 737 mower was delivered by a mechanic on a trailer behind a pick up. My 3320 was delivered on a simi with another tractor at a neighbors house. I drove it about two miles home. They keep two semis on the road hauling all the time for their 3 dealerships.

The little tractor is mine. The big one is a 8230 that was bought for the planter and grain cart.

I had the option of delivery by the dealer, however I had to take a quad in for a repair to the same store, so, I took my truck (GMC 2500HD) and trailer (18' 10,000lb) to pick it up. Got my 1 hour lesson attaching the backhoe etc. in their shop.
