I do the Turkey and ONLY the turkey.
This year I may do it in a brown paper bag in the oven. Been a few years since I did that. I leave the rest of the fixin's to the ladies.

When I was a bachelor, I used to cook complete thanksgiving dinners for my roommates, but now I'm not allowed in the kitchen. At least I get to watch football now. (If they're in the kitchen, then they can't watch the parade) /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I cook all the Thanksgiving food and on most other holidays. I really enjoy it, just don't come near me when I am cooking....I am a bit of a control freak in the kitchen /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

I let the wife do the cooking..... I did the purchase of the turkey though... on the way out to the store, I saw 12 wild turkeys on the lawn.... ran back into the house to get the camera and when I came back out, every one of them was gone...... guess that they thought I was coming back with the shot gun!!!!!! What makes this really amazing to me is the fact that in the 20 years we have been here, this is the first time that I have seen any wild turkeys anywhere near the house... plenty of deer in the back yard though.. If they come back, I will try to shoot them..... with the camera that is.... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Well, first of all, Thomas, How ya been??? Is that THE bike?

As for the cooking? This will be the first year Michele, and I will be having it at our house. Her Mom will be over to help cook, as will my sister, but as for the bird? Probably bolth of us. I DO know that I will be the one popping it in the oven. Being as I am the one up at 3:30 every am.

One thing I make, and ONLY me. The apple pie. Got to say, I make an AWSOME apple pie. How that got mixed in with all my wrench turning geins I have NO idea.

I'm the primary cook in our house...and I'm man enough to admit it /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif. My wife is a nurse and her work schedule is really screwy. I have a home office, so its just more practical for me.

As for Thanksgiving dinner....I have some very bad news. We will be going to my mother-in-laws....the home of the oven dehydrated turkey. It's not Thanksgiving at her house until someone says 'are those the rolls burning in the oven !!' /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif.
