Which "Type" of Grease ?

Hi All.

I ordered a new grease gun to lube up all the zerks on my B3000 and snowblower.

Is there any particular kind of grease cartridge I should buy?

I know that there are s few different kind of greases for the Marine environment, but what about in the agricultural world?

Well mine is still under warranty so I go with what’s specified in the manual: Kubota Moly-lit.

You may find this thread interesting. Red Tacky is not the best choice for FEL or backhoe pins.Grease; Please educate me

Cat sells the most equipment with greased pin joints in the world. They recommend grease with minimum 5% moly. Sticks great even when working in water. Started using it 10 years ago when I got my mini-excavator and use it on nearly everything. I have one gun with Mobil 1 synthetic grease for high speed bearings but it separates into oil and soap not really sticking into the pinned joints like moly.

I would use whatever is in your grease-gun. In my case, it's JD 'green' stuff because the canister fits the JD grease-gun that I have.

Mind you, I don't have a, or need for, a snowblower where I live.
