Looking into TYM, they offer models with the Yanmar (powers a lot of compact tractors) or Kukje (unfamiliar with this make).
Is there a benefit of one or the other?

Which is an Onan designed diesel engine, that Cummins got when they bought Onan, so now it's called a Cummins.Yanmars are great engines as they are in everything. I went with the Kukje, it's a Cummins A series engine which Kukje is licensed to build.

Not sure if it matters much for your application but the loader (TX57) on the T494 lifts about 310 lbs more than the loader (TX55) on the T454.Sorry, I am well aware they do not affect one another.
I am still weighing options.
And was simply pointing out some minor differences I had noted.
Did not catch that. The only way it won't matter is if the money difference is significant. After working about a1000 hrs OT this year, I am splergingNot sure if it matters much for your application but the loader (TX57) on the T494 lifts about 310 lbs more than the loader (TX55) on the T454.
