Which tractor is appropriate?

/ Which tractor is appropriate? #2
The Waterloo boy on the left was made up until 1925. The model D on the right has steel wheels. I think these were offered during WWII because of the rubber shortage. I think number 3 (model B) would be the one.
I am not a Johnny Popper expert and I did not sleep in a Holiday Inn last night, so you might want to check with someone else. JC

Tide covered it all pretty well. But, it would most likely depend on the farm setting. For an etremely rural layout, the D or Waterloo. A more developed (depending on city size) atmosphere would be more in line with the Johnny Popper (read some affluence into this).

Post a pic of the intended locale so we can get a feel for the setting. I'm assuming you are pretty much all steam on the layout, correct?

Thanks. I assumed the steel wheels harkened back to the days of steam-powered tractors, or just thereafter. And speaking of steam- yes, this layout will have a steam locomotive. I had always modeled the diesel era before. The Model B it is!

That "B" would be from the mid 40's to early 50's!

The model B was introduced in 1934 as a 1935 model. The model 50 took its place in 1951. JC
