Which Chains are best for R4 tires?

Have you noticed a rough ride on gravel or chert surfaces ?

Wow I'm surprised I have a little BX2230 with the rear mounted 60" snow-blower and never ever needed chains or got in to situation that this tractor got stuck and I pull kids on theirs sleds every x-mass around on th quite deep snow

Well, I tried installing the ladder chains from WALCO and there just wasn't enough clearance on my BX25. Next, I will check out the cost of wheel spacers. (Probably not cheap.)

No but then again, I do not go fast on these surfaces. Also my tire pressures are not high which I am sure absorbs some of the shock.is The other thing is with ags is that the chain itself does not go much beyond the lugs and when the chain rides between lugs, the lug is taking up alot of the pounding. In all instances in gravel I can see the chain marks in the gravel so I know they are aiding in tractive situations. When there is ice under snow, my bare ags spin. The tractor just keeps pushing with chains in the same situation.
