Where to mount tilt-meter

I haven't mounted mine yet, but I was thinking one option was the flap that covers the gas tank lid. This looks like a good location on the JD 3020 series tractors. Should be cheaper to replace the gas lid cover than the hood should the need arise.

I have always found that the best place for the tiltmeter is about 10" above your shoulder blades centered with your spine. It should get its feed from a point about 10" below your belt when sitting on the tractor seat........
It should be wired to always go on when you turn on the key.

True True. But the "device" you mention needs to be calibrated from time to time....

Thanks, 15 degress static doesn't sound like much but sure feels like a lot from the seat. The speed I move when tilted I'm static anyway.

Roy they do make a one time recording tilt too much indicator & they are cheap & self adhesive, Check any packaging supply for the little plastic stickies with the sand chamber that tells you when the shipper drop kicked your crystalware package. Of course when you are sitting inside the package (tractor) you may not need a one time recording stickie to tell you that you tilted too much.
