where to mount tilt meter on L3010

Hey Guys,
I've had my tilt meter longer than I care to admit, but have not mounted it on the tractor. I am looking for just the right spot but can't come up with one. Any examples of where you mounted your tilt meters on a L3010 or similar bota?

Moon I don't own a Kubota but I noticed in your bio that you had a FEL on yours. Check the link to pictures of my TC-40D and see if the FEL support mount will work for you like I mounted mine. It's easy to see and protected from damage where it's located. And you don't have to drill any holes if you use silicone adhesive. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

It looks good there. Does it work as well from there as it would up on the hood? The one I got also has the side attached forward tilt, I wonder if it could be mounted seperate in some other obscure location?

I mounted mine front and center where I can see it easily - right above the instrument pod.

just make sure u mount it in a spot that is easy to see.

Moon it is easy to see and far less likely to be bumped or knocked around than on your hood. If you will be mainly using this for your property then you will quickly memorize your lot grades as indicated on the slope meter. From that point forward you will be glancing at the meter only occasionally as a reference point.

I agree with Mike, and have mine mounted there on my L3010. Had it on the hood for a while but it not only got in the way, but was extremely distracting! Found myself watching the little ball instead of looking for rocks and dips in front of me! Pete
