Tractor supply in springville or arcade is your best bet. Around $200-$300 bucks I think.

TSC is probably your easiest bet. IMHO the King Kutter stuff is poorly made. "Farm Force" that TSC recently started carrying is similar design and price but seems to be made better.

Farm Force seems to have better welds and paint. The quality of the steel is unknown. The designs of FF stuff I've seen are identical to KK designs, which means some significant compromises on some items (e.g. subsoilers that are cheap but require more hp and do a poorer job than the more expensive designs).
I did some digging a week ago and it seems that at least two different companies are making Farm Force stuff - Hawkline out of Ohio, and Tarter Gate out of Tennessee. I've only seen the Tarter Gate stuff here in Michigan.

You would be better off if you can find an old plow in good shape. The new ones like the King Kutter and the Leinbach are for lack of a better word, well we will just leave it at that. They don't have the adjustments that the old ones do and they aren't shaped right to work right. Not the bottoms, but the frame. The old Massey, JD, Dearborn and Ferguson plows will plow circles around the TSC plows that are made now. The old ones also will pull much much easier. If one can't be found local you might check with Sweet Farm Equipment. They have shipped some of these plows to members on TBN. Ken Sweet is a member here.

It's been about 6 years ago, I bought a "TSC" 2X14" plow at auction. I was told then it was a "Howse" brand. The Lienbach labelled plows were IDENTICAL. I'm thinking it may be a "generic design" that's sold through several manufactuers, with only one company actually producing them. Anyway, I bought the plow because it was cheap (paid$105) I tried it out on a tractor that routinely pulled a 3X16" Ford 101 plow. The 2X14" "TSC" plow pulled like the anchor was out. Never was sure why, as it had wear parts that carried #'s indicating they were replacemen parts for a Ford 101. (A very easy-pulling, and good plow) Also, this plow came without coulters. Lienbach list's them as optional, but as of yet, I've never seen a TSC plow with them. I PERSONALLY wouldn't use a plow without coulters, but that's just my opinion.
From what I've learned since, these plows seem to be built as a compromise, to "fit" about any tractor. small or large, so long as it's CAT I 3-point. In the end, you'll have a plow that lacks adjustability to fit SOME tractors well. ("Fit" meaning hooked up AND properly adjusted to plow correctly)
Another observation on the "TSC" plow. For a 2X14" plow, it was the absolute HEAVIEST frame I've ever ran on to. WHile heavy often translates to STRONG, it doesn't in this case. It's just HEAVY.

I agree 100%, I just went thru looking at the new plows from TSC and our farmer's Co-op here - a single bottom was between $400 - $500 and a two bottom that I was looking for was $525 - $700. I was fortunate enough to find a MF 4 bottom plow in "excellent" condition that had been sitting for 25 years and converted it to 2 bottom and Cat.1. I soaked and worked at all the bolts for a couple days and took it apart instead of cutting anything. All I had to do was weld two pieces of heavy angle iron for brackets for the Cat.1 drawpins. I've busted two new gardens 50' x 80' and it pulls like a dream behind my 41 hp with R4 tires. Ag tires would be much better but I won't be doing alot of plowing anyway. Alot of farmers aren't using bottom plows anymore - they use the no-till drills, so finding an old one like I did shouldn't be terribly difficult. I also have an old single bottom that someone threw together from scraps many years ago - it's great for starting ditches and busting rocky soils and having the hyd. toplink makes it even more versatile for those jobs.

Yesterday I plowed my garden with a 12" single bottom plow made by a company called International (not Case IH) they are from Bethel Ohio. I don't think they have a web site. I have also seen Lienbach 12" plows on Ebay, I think Coriher has them. If you look on WorkSavers web site they also have a 12" plow. All three of these plows look similar. I'll try to get some pics today.

We now have a one bottom plow (3ph type) that was made for and sold with a Ford 8N tractor. I think it is 14" but not sure. It seems to be very well made and despite being 50+ years old it looks like it is useable as it is now, and could be really good after removing the rust. Anything made for an 8N should be easy to find and not too expensive. Might be worth a look.

Coulters are disks that are located in front of the plowshare and are intended to slice open the ground ahead of the plow to make for easier plowing and less trash buildup. Very common on older plows. I understand that they are very useful when plowing through sod and less important when plowing on ground that is fairly bare.
