Just wondering if its normal that the grease comes out from the side of the bolt and not from the joint itself on some of my grease point.
I took it appart and made sure that everything is clean inside but the grease still comes out from the side of the bolt.
Would you guys call it a well greased joint if grease only came out from there?
All links have a little gap between the pin and bushing. Duh! Otherwise you would not be able to assemble them. When greasing you should shift the position of the implement to where that tiny gap is on the 'loaded' side of the pin. That way the grease will enter into the area doing the most work and needing lubrication. As in; don't raise your bucket and then grease the lift linkage. That tiny gap has been closed up by what you've done and the 'unloaded' side will get the grease. This takes a tad bit longer but if you are going to grease you should put the grease where it is needed most.

Just remember that grease is the cheapest tool in your tool box
