I have been looking at several different sights for filters but can't find one that has a listing for my 5740. I need the parts number for the filters . The filters on my new tractor are painted so I can't get the #'S off them .Would anyone know the kubota parts #'s so I can cross reference them. thanks

Any kubota dealer in your area would have the part #s you need.Just tell him what fluids you are changing and he will give you numbers for the filters.
I just did my 50 hr service on a B7800, and the filters are pretty expensive, and I don't know if you can cross reference them or not.
Good luck

Do yourself a favor and try NAPA and tell them exactly what you have

One other tip about TractorSmart, if you fill out their form, you may be able to download a parts manual(s) for future reference. I've never had any spyware or spam as a result of filling out the form.

I recently got in a big box of air filters, oil filters and HST filters from TractorSmart, they had the lowest prices I found in a quick search. I also just got in today 7.5 gallons of SuperUDT from Messick, could never find it on TractorSmart's site:confused: Two local dealers don't even have the SuperUDT:cool:
Both sources shipped promptly.

I checked the websites listed in the posts above and the prices are very close to what my local dealer charges. I would have no problems using Wix or Purolator oil filter if I could find them. And my dealer carries Super UDT.

I bought John Deere air filters for my L3010. They were from Ohio and fit the Kubota perfectly. Oil filters and trans filters probably come from Ohio as well :)

Ok I'm not getting what being from Ohio has to do with filters:confused:
Are they different than filters from, say, Pennsylvania:cool:
