There is a commercial on TV for a weight loss drug that has hundreds of people marching somewhere. I wonder if they are looking for relief from all the side effects. LOL

Probably to the horspital. One of my Wife's friends has been in the horspital for three days from side effects (projectile vomiting) from one of the injectibles.

Some magic stuff they will have to take for the rest of their life, big pharma must love it. The result of the collaboration of the food industry and big pharma. Side effects ?? we have pill for that and a other pill for the side effect of that pill.

They say that you can't outrun the fork. I found that is not true. At over 35miles/week, I was able to outrun the fork. So for those that choose not to run 35miles/week, watch what you eat.

I wish I still could. At 82 I do good to walk 2 miles.
I'm retired Army 1SG, Infantry drill sergeant for many years. Running and forced marches w/ 80# pack were my trade. Now my hips and knees limit me to walking.
I think I'm in good shape for 82, I still do 30-40 sit-ups a day, or the same amount of leg-lifts, and weight 172#.
Nothing however limits working my new to me, MF451 w/loader tractor.
I heard a new one this week. A woman told me she had been eating a lot of candy, trying to become diabetic; because of some shot her friends are taking which made them lose weight.
All of that sugar didn't work, but it did seem to add to her weight.

I am amazed how well some of them work though, and I would be in big trouble without allergy medications sometimes! Or even just ibuprofen for taking down a fever. It seems the weight loss pill isn't quite there yet?
What works for me, is just not having the bad food in the fridge or cupboards, you can eat a heck of a lot of carrots before you put on weight!

I generally consume 2# baby carrots a week; snacking while reading forums on the web. They're hard on fillings though, I've broken 2 this year.
The best thing helping me maintain/lose weight is the Dr.s instructions to drink 8 full 12oz glasses of water a day to keep my kidneys functioning. (I had kidney failure 3 years ago this month [blood poisoning] and recovered-no more dialysis)
