Turf vendors?

Yep. It's a beautiful sight seeing a turf farm... When I was posted to Canberra, there was a turf farm beside the highway to Fyshwyck; acres & acres of manicured lawn.

[Note: the actual name of that town really is "Fyshwyck"... I wasn't having a mini-stroke. ]

Grief - before I opened that picture it looked like the little Kubota was sitting on a pool table.

Lot of turf mfgrs up on the Red River between TX and OK. River bottom is sandy and flat. Plenty of water below.
