When will tractor manufacturers finally offer a front 3pt and implements for CUTs

This hasn't been mentioned but a lot of tractors--well, at least my Kubotas--have pto stubs on the front of the crankshaft. I recall years ago lots of hydraulic things used to be hooked to them. Can't recall exactly but maybe mowers as well as hydraulic things. Maybe front mowers?

I once considered adapting one of those Swisher mower decks to mount up front on my John Deere Gator 4x2. Use the winch to control deck height. It pushes a snow plow surprisingly well so it might work.

Not a three point attachment but seemed to work well in my mind.

You guys are not looking hard enough, the front 3pt /pto offered by tractor manufacturers are supplied by the likes of Zuidberg and Laforge.

Zuidberg Frontline Systems B.V.

MK Martin also offers them. I would go Zuidberg.

Thanks for the link WilliamBos, I didn't find this manufacturer in my initial search. Just from browsing it looks like they make a ton of models for JD tractors.

I know Mk Martin makes a front 3pt with a either clockwise or counterclockwise gear reduction kit to make the Mid-PTO reduce down to 540. They only make this for a few models unfortunately.

Even if I couldn't get front PTO setup with a 540 reduction, I could still see some uses for a front 3pt. Anybody how has ever tried to run a cultivator off a 3 point knows that this task is a P.I.T.A to try and keep the tractor straight and the cultivators out of the rows.

The 3 point looks like something like that might be easy enough to fabricate if one had a plasma cutter and good welder. As for the gear reduction PTO that might be a different story.

Those Vertrac tractors were similar to the old Toro Pro lawn tractor I used to work with. everything was front mounted and belt driven. I was always fabricating attachments out of the junk pile to make my job a little easier.

My uncle had a Farmall A, I think, that had a mid mount row cultivator that was raised and lowered by that weird midmount hydraulic arm they had, and my farmall cub had a belly mower that likewise was raised and lowered by the mid-"hydraulic" arm, but was powered by the rear PTO via a long belt and several pullies... Not fron mounts by any means, but way better thna rear mounts..
