I just bought a Kubota, my experience is you buy when you have the CASH, cash is king and that's what the dealers I spoke to wanted to hear and would then make deals.

Just look for 0% financing and go with it. I got 0-72 on my Massey.

Unfortunately, 0% on a crap load of money is still a crap load.

I prefer getting low pricing instead of any kind of financing.

Now is a pretty good time to buy because inventory is high, especially if paying cash. Buying larger tractors you will want to buy before harvest and farmers know what their cash position is. That is when my FIL would buy equipment as do many farmers. Probably won't affect the compact tractor market that much though.

If you are financing, wait until spring, interest rates will probably come down a bit by then. Just a guess though.

But between now and spring you won't see much, if any, difference in tractor prices unless we see a significant market correction that leaves no one buying anything. We could see that kind of correction; another reason to wait until spring I guess.

I'm waiting until spring to consider another newer truck for a few reasons, not the least of which is the election.

That's fully possible, but I don't like owing money.

Although, I have swallowed my pride and taken loans to get a few thousand off the price of a vehicle, spending maybe $300-$400 (have to maintain the loan for 90 days) to save ten times that.

Well, there used to be many post here about folks buying new tractors, now we see few. Glad to see you are wanting one. I'd say there is no best time other than specials we sometime see in late summer. That never worked for me because the unit I wanted never went on sale.

I agree on the 0% financing.
I hate having a payment and could have paid cash but, I'm using their money to help make the payments.
