When do you guys check this?

Usually only at work & I work all three shifts. Since my job is mainly watching the machine run, as long as I have internet access here, TBN & a few other forums keeps me company. This job will be eliminated & more than likely I will be in a production job & my time spent here will pretty much dry up. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif I will still logon at home to ask a question or two when I need help.

SINCE I AM RETIRED. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif I AM liable to check in anytime, early morning, mid afternoon etc. depends on my stuff to do and the weather.

I don't have much of a set schedule for checking in here. Today was especially odd in that I was home sick and I must've checked in a dozen times through the day. Online was my only way to communicate as I couldn't speak at all. Between that and the violent coughing I decided both the office and I would be better off if I stayed home today. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I'll be back at work tomorrow and back on my regular schedule. I might check in during the day and likely will once at night

Well I cut down on my coffee intake..about 8 cups day..but I do feel when that windchil twist my nose I'll be hot pot or so behind you Frank. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

8 cups a day, is that a little too much you think? I'm 24 years old and since I work midnights I'll have a soda once in a while about three a.m. and I'm wired and awake till 7 a.m. I'd hate to know what I'd be like if I had 8 cups of coffee every day.

good morning,
i work the 7 pm to 3 am shift, so when i get home (4 or 5 am) i check in for about an hour. working this shift give me time to shop at wally world early in the am, no hassle and they all know me /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif usually cook breakfast while the 'puter warms up.... /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif this morning fahitas, refried beans w/ jalepenos, guacomole, big diet RC (it has splenda).... /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
come back aread most of the posts for last six hrs.
you guys are great and very funny at times and i'll be glad when mark777 gets ok....

Rick, I was 24 before I started drinking coffee. And now I sip coffee from the time I get up until after noon, so it's usually a lot more than 8 cups. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif After noon, at least during the hot time of year, I switch to cold drinks, usually iced tea. But my wife keeps a coffee cup within reach from the time she gets up until she goes back to bed at night, and she's been doing that ever since I met her 40 years ago. A travel cup of coffee goes in the car any time she gets in the car, and if she's going to be gone more than a couple of hours, a thermos bottle of coffee, too. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Not too long ago, I used to drink abou the same amount of coffee each day (during the week). My weekend intake would be less, and almost every Sunday morning I would wake up with a bad headache which lasted until 1:00p no matter how many asprin I would take.

About 2 years ago I cut back to just 2 cups per day -- now headaches are rare. I have also started drinking more water -- I should have done this a long time ago.

Headache is a symptom of caffeine withdrawal. IMO caffeine is as addictive as nicotine.

Shhhhh, nobody tell the gov. or the pop and coffee companies will be sued for billions for not telling consumers!!!!
