When a gear tractor reaches 1000's of hours it needs a clutch; what does a HST need?

My 10 year old L5240 is leaking transmission fluid through some bearing that the shaft that drives the front wheels goes through. My dealer said I'd have to split the tractor to fix it. I've been putting about a gallon of fluid in it per 10 hours of use in the summer. It's not too bad in the winter when the fluid is thicker, lol. So far, the hydraulic oil is cheaper than splitting the tractor.

Pretty much all of them between a B series Kubota and L6060. Not limited to Kubota. I just used their model for comparison.

What do you do, if you own a bunch? If I hoarded the parts, I would without a doubt, find out I bought the wrong ones, or my model was the only one that didn't use the usual parts.

I use JD low visc hyd oil in all my hydrostats and JD6200.

Well ....20 years from now, I'll be 98, and likely needing body parts, rather than tractor parts..

Nearly 2,100 hrs between two HST tractors (B7800 1,800 hrs [worked it like a rented mule] and NX5510 350 hrs) and not a single issue. My wife can operate these tractors (and, her first time, she had to operate my NX5510 in an emergency situation). My knees are still good. Lots of navigating, not a lot of ground engaging work, so HST makes more sense for me in my situation.

Just in case you didn't know:

When you see "SCUT" that means sub compact utility tractor. Which is the size range of a JD 2305,1025R, Kubota BX series, MF GC series etc..
