Wheels coming loose

So I was looking at my rims today and noticed some of the lugs were loose. Anyone have this issue?

Do you have any idea of the torque pressure required?

When that happens on my 1845 it typically means one or more studs have broken.

Yes. I have to check mine once or twice per year. Need to apply some loctite but am always in a hurry when I think about it.

um...yes, I've had that issue. right front wheel looked odd one day and when I checked out why I was down to two loose lug nuts! Funny thing is the auto parts store had big chrome lugs MUCH cheaper than standards so now one wheel of the 1850 is pimped out!

X2 the Locktite. You will have a lot less stress that worrying about it. Loose lug-nuts can wreck a wheel pretty fast.

A solution might be a Nyloc or Nylar nut. However, I have never seen them as a lugnut application.

As mentioned above, this is the reason you should be using thread lockers.

A double nut or nylon lock nut would be good if there is enough thread to use additional nuts.
