Wheelhorse 520xi

First time to this site.

I am having issues with my 520xi.
When I try to go in reverse it keeps
Stalling. Anyone have any advice
As to what might be wrong?

I have a New Holland GT22 same as 522xi, does it shut off in reverse or pull the engine down as if under heavy load?. Does it operate normally in forward?

It is ok forward just shuts off when I press the pedal down for reverse.. it start going backwards but when I push it the whole was down on the floor board it stalls.

Safety switch? I have to put the key switch on my 2008 Craftsman YS4500 in a different position to use reverse. Our 1992 WH 520H does not have this "feature", though.

I will have to see where the switch is at on my tractor.
