What's with this weather??

It's December 30th. Normally in Minnesota we have 10 - 15" of snow on the ground by now. About 6 weeks ago we did get 11" here where I live but it only lasted about 5 days. Today Dec 30th the temp at 10:00pm it is 43 degrees outside and we have had over an inch of rain in the last two days. I have put my fall jacket in the pickup but have not used it but maybe a couple of times.

I hope we don't get a really cold snap now and a delayed spring out of this.

Eight and half inches today, maybe six to seven more by tomorrow. We do need the moisture.

Murph, it's been in the 50's here the past week or two. 250 miles west is a different story, Denver is getting blasted. We've got some nice rain and we really needed it.

Strange weather also here in the northeast.
We should of had least couple of good snow storms by now...nothing bout couple of 2or3 inchers,than warm spell arrives and the snow melts.
Yesteday almost 5" of new fallen snow so I plow,but the next five days temps in the 40's....guess January thaw continues from last year.

I do feel sorry for the guys who have purchase new trucks w/plows also sanders,for this type of weather gotta be bitting into there wallet.

Not one farmer should complain about the moisture this year, again all night long it rained with at times coming down pretty hard. Otherwise this last three days has to be one of the best soaker rains I have seen in a long time.

I believe I heard that the pacific is having an "EL-NINIO" spelling? where the cold currents change normal flow/direction bringing in all the warm pacific waters farther south which makes the Midwest and north east way warmer than normal... this is OK by me

my grass I planted back in fall is gonna need mowed in OHIO soon though lol...

Weather has been strange here also, temps should be in the 40's during the day, but most days have been averaging 10 degrees higher or more, I'm starting to wonder if winter is ever going to start. There are a few insects still flying around during the day.

Same here in the middle of Missouri. We did how ever have 18" of snow a couple weeks ago, but it soon left. We have been in the 50's & 60's lately. Not using any heat and having to open a couple of windows some days.
