Grapple What's this worth

There's a used tractor dealer not far from me selling this grapple. He wants $1850 for it but reading on here that price seems pretty steep, although it is very heavy built, everything is framed with 1/2"+ material, what do you guys think?

That doesn't seem awful steep, but are those rods rusting? That's not right.

It seems a little high, but not to high. Looks like it still has the manual taped on, not sure if it has ever been used. If those rods are indeed rusted, not worth nearly as much. I think it looks like debris/dust/bird droppings, though.

It has never been used/there's no quick connect ends on the hoses. Just the npt ends. It is rust you see on the cylinder rods although i can't tell how bad or if it's pitted under. It's been stored outdoors for a while I'd say although it is under a roof.
