Whats the point of the BX model?

In relative comparison to an L35 they are weak and that in fact is the
point and intention. Every machine is an engineering compromise and
has a target window of application.

I wouldn't even think of trying to do any intricate landscaping with my
tractor and wouldn't mind having something as non-intrusive and
maneuverable as a BX-anything as a complementary tool.

Open pit copper mines have loaders that lift about 50 tons. None of us on this thread 'gonna win a tractor pull against them. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

RonR above listed all kind of advantages, and that part about the 3ph Cat. 1 implements-that's a real long list if you wanna' tell everything a BX will drive. But there's 1 more thing not on Ron's list. Though the BX will do virtually anything a regular utility tractor will do (at a lesser level), the BX is built like a garden tractor (I didn't say it's a glorified garden tractor-it ain't) in that it has a low center of gravity. I've got hills & knolls that I'd be scared ----less to take regular tractors on, but the BX takes 'em as well as an ATV. I don't worry 'bout rollin' when I'm on my 'Bota.

The ground clearnace issue is actually the biggest NON-ISSUE regarding the BX series. The stability is far better than the taller tractors, and you have less "Pucker factor".

That's because it's much, much harder to roll a sub-cut than it is a CUT with real ground clearance /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif. G

that pretty much says it all. All things be they tractors or hand tools are designed AND priced for certain tasks.

The point is to save my back. Same reason for all tractors. Some projects I would never attempt without my BX22.

I dont understand something. What did you use the tractor for? Why couldnt you have done that without a tractor?
