Got home from work this mornin (3rd shift). Made a pot of coffee. Sat at the kitchen table and watched 40 turkeys and a doe in the back corn field as the sun came up.
As a 21 yr old, I don't see what all the kids these days see in the city life. I am blessed.

You mean thats what you saw on the game cube:D
I feel what you mean.
My cousins boy has every toy under the sun(Dirtbikes/ATV's, Bow etc.) and 80 + acres of hilly river bottom ground w/ trees all over and he dosen't make it out from in front of that game console of his.
Ohh well let the ones who know what its all about enjoy it.

The only way it could have been better is if you'd taken a picture to share with us, but we'll give you a pass this time based on your youthful inexperience.;) Good for you!

You sound like me at that age, I have never had a "draw" to the city, sure there are a few fun things to do, but for a way of life, I am a country boy too.

This is about as good as I could crop it using a camera phone. I really need a professional quality camera to take in my pack when I bowhunt for all the awesome things I see 20 ft up in a tree.

Got to work this morning and made a pot of coffee and saw 40 turkeys as well. Though I think I need to change coffee or shifts:laughing::laughing:

Yep you are on the correct road:thumbsup:

When you see stuff like this it always makes me think of the millions who have no concept that stuff like this happens on a daily basis. Way better than the discovery channel

You would have to shoot me to get me to live in a big city.

My daughter lives in one of those communities where the houses are 1-story and 2-story boxes about a double arm-length apart. They have a little postage stamp front yard and a tiny fenced back yard. The streets are full of cars because everyone has more cars than places to park them. For this "luxury" they get to kowtow to an oppressive HOASS. Every time I go there, I get sweaty palms from feeling boxed in. I understand why people buy homes in these places close to schools and their jobs, but I also understand the stress involved in living in that environment. It's not for me.

Being only a few years older than yourself I can say that I had similar thoughts. I would rather sit and enjoy a cup-o-joe looking at something like that for one day that a million mornings in some corner shop in a big city.
