Having a slight dilema....In the spring I plan on getting a new lawnmower. I'm torn between which way to go. I like the deck and speed of the ZD326 with a 60" deck and could get the 2+ acres done in no time...ALTHOUGH it's "just a mower". I already have a L5030 with many attachments, my father has a 331 Bobcat excavator, so no need for a backhoe ever. I can't help the fact I can buy for pretty close the same money a BX2360 with a 60" MMM even though I really don't NEED another tractor....then again my boy is just turning 7 and thinking this would be good for "his" tractor...in time. I think the deck on the ZD is much better quality "from the looks anyway" any truth to that? I can't help the fact that the BX is a "smarter" machine due to it being able to do more stuff than just mow. Am I the only one that thinks this way? Which way would you go?

I would buy a finish cut mower for my pto on the L5030. You are right the ZD is only a mower for a lot of $.

I have looked at and considered a ZTR, but unless all you know you will ever do is mow, they just don't make sense to me when compared to BX.

My wife is now in charge of grounds maintenance and when I mentioned the possibility of trading "here" BX in on a ZTR, the reception was cool to say the least.

I also have a L5030 as well as a RFM and it just isn't even close to the same in usefulness around the house for mowing chores.

I'd go w/Bx..good back up also if you decide to sell higher mark up.

BX will do it..Not as fast, but it does alot of other stuff that a ZTR can't do.

I thought about that, but the L5030 is way too heavy for a soft lawn although would be great when it's really dry and hard.

Good info being you have a L5030 too. That does everything I need as a tractor, but lacks for a lawnmower..Now I see a B2320 isn't far off for price either.....geesh...decisions!!

Is there any specs on the MMM available on the BX or B? Didn't see any on Kubota.com, although they list some for the ZTR's

For mowing, get an F. I've traded all around between B's, BX's and an L and finally landed with a BX25 and two F's for two different locations. Love the F's for mowing since I have the BX for tractor work.

Ditto on that. Best mower you will ever own. Once you've had one you will never go back to anything else.:D

Plus there are multiple attachments you can get too.
