I have a couple of sections of railroad iron bolted on the upper backside of the blade. I can still turn the blade 360 degrees. HUGE difference in biting in. As previously mentions, ground works much better when it is moist such as after a rain.

Just be careful you don't put pressure on those diagonal bracers to the top link. I did that trying to put more weight on my blade and ended up bending them into some pretty (but useless) S-curves. Got several hours of apprentice blacksmith training softening, straightening, rehardening, repainting to repair them.
