I got a Craftsman 17" rear tine tiller in very good condition for $150 !!!

I had a great lead on a Ford branded 72" 3pt snowblower in very good condition for $500!. unfortunately, I had to make an emergency Florida run for a family issue and he sold it before i got home of course...

1st was a New Holland 757 frame mounted backhoe ,$ 1500 , ( Craigslist ) , 2nd John Deere 4ft heavy duty Bush hog , with new blades and paint, $350.(Want Ad Digest). 3rd, Large 8hp Trac Vac ,$ 350. ( JD Dealer in PA ) 4th Western 6 1/2 snow plow $50 ( Craigslist ) I'm sure there's more. ???

Every year, there is a spring FFA consignment auction nearby. Over the years, I've managed to get some good deals. A couple of years ago, they had a used LandPride 5' hinged back box blade w/ ripper teeth. They had a typo in the model number in the ad. In looking over the web sites of some local implement dealers, I found the BB listed there with the same typo. They were asking $650.
I already had a KK box blade, but felt that the LandPride would be a nice upgrade. I ended up getting the LandPride at the auction for $325.
The best part is what comes after.....
I put the KK up on Craigslist for $400. Got a call from a guy it turns out I knew from a prior time in life. He said he'd take the blade, but would I consider delivering it if he tacked on another $25? You bet!
I upgraded to a better box blade, and put $100 in my pocket on top of that!

Well, I'd say it just happened last night. I just brought home a 1955 WD45 Allis Chalmers tractor. Also a 3 year old Buhler C2560 5' tiller, a 3 year old 5' KK box Blade and a 6' KK scraper blade. An older 2 bottom plow and a 6' 3pt disc. I got the package for $2900.00. I already have a tractor, but am selling this one to my father in law for half of what I payed for the package, so I get all the attachments for $1450.00. That tiller alone is worth that, so I feel like I made out like a bandit.

I don't have very good pictures since it was late last night when I got home, and dark this morning, but here's a couple pics I took this morning.

Just bought a Sitrex finish mower and BEFCO tiller for $650 from a friend who was selling his tractor and some attachments in order to buy a Zero Turn mower of some sort.

Ended up buying our tractor '05 MF 1533 w/ 4n1 FEL, Bush Hog, Box Blade and Disc for $13k which we thought we stole, too.

Not an attachment but I can use it to repair them in the future if need be.

Got the Lincoln AC/DC, a bunch of sticks, helmet, book and scrap metal for $180.

I recently bought a 5 ft. TSC brush hog in excellent shape for $200. It is probably several years old, but has seen minimal use.

I would say that the JD #39 sickle for $150 on CL was our "best deal". It did not need any work, just some minor adjustments to work on the smaller tractor and it came with new knives!

I dont know how good of a deal it was but I bought a root rake with a grapple and added a 3 rd funtion for the loader. Best money I ever spent on equipment. Brush piles don't have a chance!!!!!
