What teams will play in the next Superbowl?

Just saw this....

"Coach Reid told us, he said, 'If you go out to watch the performance, just keep walking 'cause you're not playing the rest of the game,'" -Mahomes

Hard to believe any player would do that. I didn't even watch the halftime show, needed to get chores done.

It would have mattered big time. It was 3rd & long and would have then been 4th and long with about 1:40 on the clock. This would have forced the Chiefs to kick a field goal or risk going for it on 4th down.
That would have left the Eagles a lot of time on the clock. There was so much time left the Chiefs actually held back on scoring to finish off the eagles.

It made a huge difference and sealed the game for the Chiefs. It reminded me of the call against the Bengals this year and the year the Bengals lost the Superbowl to the Rams.

The refs decided that super bowl, too.

At least the players shook hands at the end, unlike Tom Brady who ran away when he lost and cried to Giselle. :ROFLMAO:
They were up by 10 end of the half and were in control (could have been up by 17 if not for the Hurts fumble).

Eagles then lost control in both the 3rd and 4th quarter.

Reality is when you in control of a game going into the third quarter you're blaming a play with 1:40 left to play, the team choked IMO.

Kansas City was the better team that day.

Yep, keep telling yourself that.
Then go back and watch the last plays of the 2022 Super Bowl Bengals phantom “holding” call on Cooper Kupp. That was in the final minute of the game and allowed the rams to score a game winning TD .
Then check out the calls against the Bengals when they played KC a couple weeks ago. Bengals got screwed.

Oh, then check out the non-call against the Saints a few years ago.

Heck 1:40 is an eternity to get down the field, even in a high school game. lol

In the end it is just a game....
BINGO.

I was bummed because my dad wasn't around to watch it with me, but like I told my wife, I'd rather be next to her at night than have the Eagles win the next 10 superbowls. It's only a game.

Besides that, I still can watch when the Eagles beat the Patriots as I still have it recorded (my wife can still remember me and my dad screaming at the TV in the basement when she was two floors above us in our bedroomLOL). Most cowboy fans don't have their VHS tapes around anymore 😂

Hey, I would not boo the NFL's man of the year award, even if he played for the Cowboys;)

I tell myself it's only a game, and when you need to blame the refs for losing, you weren't good enough to win.

I will give the Eagles credit after the game for not crying about it and Bradberry being a man and good player to admit he did get caught for the correct call. Gives me hope for next year.

Now, the Saints fans can hold onto a grudge if they want to on that pass interference non call as they were robbed, but really that's the only team I can think of. The call on Bradberry was the correct call. NOW, what Bill Belichick would have done differently than Sirianni is have his defensive backs wearing white gloves. Bradberry was wearing dark green gloves. With the Chiefs wearing white uniforms, white gloves are harder to pick up when your tugging on an opponents white uniform vs darker color gloves.

As many people here commented, the Eagles did get away with a few calls themselves in the first half.

These two things right here.

It’s not the call itself. It’s the timing of the call.
He did show class by admitting it, but the pass wasn’t catchable, either and the hold was a very minor hold that is done by all corners playing up on the line against a receiver.
Last years Super bowl belonged to the Bengals. It was decided by a call, too.

Far as I’m concerned, the Eagles should have played the Bengals.

I know that sounds virtuous and easy to agree with, but the reality is the refs make calls that change outcomes of games and they have many, many times.
I was at the an Eagles home loss to the Commanders just this year when Dallas Goedert was pulled down by the face mask so hard onto his shoulder, he bruised it and fumbled the ball. It was an easy scoop & score for the Commanders and helped them win the game. No face mask call.

Goedert was out for several weeks with a shoulder contusion on the facemask tackle with NO call made by the refs. We lost arguably one of our best players for several weeks.

On the replay, the ref stood and watched the entire play in front of him.

I contend refs blow calls that change game outcomes AND also make non-calls that change game outcomes. NFL refs also favor certain players over others (Tom Brady got more sissy calls than all other QBs in football combined).

Philly fans are the complete opposite of Saints fans. When the refs screwed the Saints out of the Superbowl there was no riots or vandalism. Instead, on Superbowl Sunday, tens of thousands of people formed a Saints victory parade in the French Quarter, declaring the Saints the Champions and even presenting a replica Superbowl trophy. It was one of the days with the least violence in New Orleans and practically no one stayed home to watch the Superbowl.
