Early Superbowl 58 prediction from a frequently disappointed and frustrated long time fan. Im betting the farm including my tractors the Detroit Lions will win it. Or will be perfectly content if they beat the Packers 1x lol.

If you're gonna complain about the officiating, what about the 3-4 times the Eagles should have been flagged for delay of game but weren't, the 2-3 times they should have been flagged for offsides and at least 2 times they had a false start but it wasn't called.
I thought the Chiefs were going to lose the game due to officials NOT calling some penalties on the Eagles and the missed 3 point attempt.
That last minute Holding call was correct, and as for the receiver wouldn't have been able to make the catch anyway, seriously?? Have you not seen the speed some of these guys have, I think he could very well have made it if he hadn't been held or turned.

For whatever reason, Philly football fans have always suffered from "social disparity dysfunction syndrome". AKA their lives suck so bad so the only thing they have in their life in their football team that does nothing for them but give them false hope in becoming something they're not.

EVERY team has it fair share of horrible fans that do stupid crap, but for whatever reason, Philly seems to have more of them (I remember when I lived outside Morgantown WV and burning couches was a thing and before it became a felony LOL).

On a side-note, I thought most of the commercial sucked and even my wife who was watching the game with me commented she couldn't believe they would pay top dollar advertising space.

I also noticed the missed calls against the Eagles in the first half. In the end it is just a game....a game that most people will forget happened by next season. More "bread and circuses" to entertain the masses.

In Medieval times the players were called Court Jesters. Same with all entertainers. Now we idolize them. And actually let them tell us how we should be running this country. And insulting our flag. The list is endless. WTH?

The people GIVE them tremendous power because we make it important in our lives. In reality, what difference does it make for most of us who wins? Sure, it is nice when a team you like wins, but it shouldn't matter to the point of craziness.

I "give" them very little. I don't own any sportswear. I've never attended a major sporting event. At most I watch one NFL game per year, SB, if I am at all interested in the teams playing. Sunday I turned on the TV at halftime. Used that 20 minutes to eat Supper because I had no interest in the entertainment. Watched the last half.

I get my entertainment from watching how worked up people get over it. The owners get their fortune from getting people worked up over it. Pretty funny actually.
