Could add to it with side and end tarps to help protect from the winter weather. I don't like throwing a tarp directly on whatever you store. Seems that is what the critters like.

I store my Kioti DK55 outside in the winter. I buy the heavy duty tarps from Costco. The ticket is good quality bungie cords so the tarp can move a little if the wind gets too strong. Rope will stretch over time and the tarp will get loose. The tarps are 12x16 before finishing. The blue tarps at the big box stores all say heavy duty but they are just single ply crap and based on experience, I believe they dissolve in the rain.

I ended up using a shelterlogic 20 ft by 10ft by 8ft canvas shelter
Put up on cinder blocks

I’ve used before and was trying to avoid putting it up but works perfect

Solid choice. I’ve run those shelters twice in my lifetime. First one last 4 years but had a second one right next to it. The second one only lasted two years in a wide open space. In case someone else comes across this post, I’ll second what someone else said, avoid standard tarps unless you plan on buying one a month. Ocean State Heavy Duty tarps have served me well and I finally found one I like. Covers my Kubota like a blanket. Four bungees with a light stretch is perfect. Tarps don’t like excessive force.
