What size rear rake for Kubota B2920

I guess on a rake I'd probably go with the 6 footer....... rear blade definitely a 5 footer. I run a 6 foot LandPride rake on my cabbed B3030 with loaded tires, and the 6 foot rake will stop my tractor dead when there is enough debris in the rake.

I have a B 2620 and a 5' Woods rake. I can angle the rake and still cover my tracks. I purchased the rake for use with my BX 2200. If I were to purchase one for the 2620, I would buy a 6' rake, but it is not important emough for me to trade.

Wow, do the tires just start losing traction when that happens?

Thanks for letting me know... I started to count out the 5' but now that I think about it...I don't have that many small areas where the smaller rake would be beneficial, but I also don't have very many big areas where I NEED a 6'.... Decisions, decisions, decisions...

I don't use a rake, but the rear blade question depends on the use. I have a 6' woods rear blade, originally served double duty for snow as well as other uses. 5' would probably be adequate for most uses, but when clearing snow, even the 6' is a little on the small slide. For a couple years I considered putting some kind of removable wings on the blade for snow, but last year decided to go with a snow thrower for snow removal, relegating the back blade to other uses. When the 6' blade is fully angled for snow, it doesn't project enough away from the tractor, so to make another pass, you have to drive in the already plowed snow, else push backwards, which with heavy snow loads isn't good for the 3pt., and though I have shoes for snow plowing, there is always the chance of hooking a rock and really doing some damage in reverse. Of course, you have to go in reverse to use the 3 pt. snow thrower, but not pushing a huge amount of snow, and moving slower.

5' would probably be the best choice if you don't do much snow, or have a short, paved, driveway.. The 6' back blade can be reversed while on my tractor, which I think is smaller than the B2920.

Just finished removing approx. 12 ton of rock on new ground. Used Land Pride 6ft rake. To start, I removed every other tooth and went down 8" behind B3300SU. This pulled everything over 4". Then reinstalled teeth and this got down to everything over 2". There was a lot of up and down with the rake, as it really loaded up with rock, but patience and persistence was my key to rock raking my new soil.
