Tractor Sizing what size do I need

we own almost four acres all of it we cut but we are planning on building a barn and using a fel to cleanout stalls for a horse we also plan on using the front end loader to help out the nieghbor all of our land is flat what would you all suggest. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

If you have your heart set on a Kubota I would say a 7800 is a good bet with a 402 loader. If you don't have a lot of obstacles to manuver around a rear finish mower if you do a mid mount may be better.

do yo think that te b7800 will cause any damage to the sepetic with it's wieght.

I have a b2910 with a back hoe mounted and the tires filled. I drive over my septic with no problem. I was concerned about the weight at first but after using the machine around the yard I realized the weight would not affect my leach field or tanks.

A BX would be great too. One thing, remember if you want to use your FEL to clean out the stalls, make sure you build the stalls so you can get the tractor inside.... that's a big stall!

I looked at a BX and ended up buying a B2910 a few months ago. The best advice that I found in the TBN posts were to think about future needs for your tractor size and how much to spend (tractor plus implements). Take your time and work out negotiations on the pricing. I also found that dealer location and relationship (customer and service) were important to me. Good Luck.
