What size Brush Hog?

As a new tractor owner I have found this forum so helpful not only in making the purchase decision to buy a Kioti but also to anticipate problems and learn more about being a tractor owner.
I have a LB1914. According to Kioti's web site the LB1914 engine produces 17.1hp at the PTO. This compares to a CK20 gear model of 16.5hp or a CK20HST produces 15.5hp. Moving up to a CK25HST the PTO bump up 2.4hp generating 19.5hp at the PTO for that model.
I am contemplating purchasing a 5' wide Brush Hog for my machine. Based on others experiences with this size should I have any reservations or am I adequately powered to pull this size unit vs the smaller 4'. The Koiti site seems to support a both a 4' and a 5' for the LB1914.
Anyone using a 5' on the CK20 or CK20HST? If so what do you think?

I has rented a 5' for use behind my CK20HST without any problem. This was in a field that had not been touched for years. I was debating about buying a 5' one for some touchup work but decided to use the box blade, loader, and rake to clean that area up. Anytime I got in an area that was to high I just cut down the width that I was cutting.

My CK30 runs my 5' kk easy, so I would think you could do it. May have to slow down in thick stuff or take a smaller cut. But w/ a 4' you could just cruise ! Will a 4' cover your tracks ?

I bought a 4' for my CK20HST, and I'm sorry I didn't go with a 5' to begin with. For one, it would run it, and another, I could get up closer to fences and sides of buildings. The only reservation I might think of, is if I had to work a lot of really hilly terrain as the extra weight of the 5' may possibly cause some problem, but I doubt it.
I can tell from my many hours with the 4' that the CK20 would run a 5' with little difficulty, and I'm sure the 1914 would as well.

Kurt, Larry and John thank you for your replies to my Brush Hog question. You have made me more comfortable with my decision on purchasing a 5' hog vs a smaller 4'. Now I just have to shop around and find a good unit for a fair price. Thanks Again.
