what model tiller do I have?

I found a partial Serial number on my tiller and i cant find much on Google. Can you guys help me out the number is M00448X505145

Im not sure if any letters or numbers are missing as all the labels have been printed over and i tried to be careful to scratch them clean.

I will also need a parts diagram on the chain or a owners manual for the above tiller if anyone has.

I cannot help you specifically, but if you were to post a few pics of your tiller I would be inclined to believe those who might be able to help would have a better chance of identifying your particular model with some visual aids.

It looks like it is a John Deere Tiller, I found a link where someone posted: The M00448X tillers where made from 1983-87,JD parts list them as fitting the 650750 compact utility tractors, I would contact a Deere Dealer, also see this other link below:

The model number should be the M00448X, then the last part should be unique to your tiller.

ok I have a questions my lower sprocket seems to be moving in and out upon closer inspection it looks like it should have a bolt to hold the sprocket in place the above parts diagram doesn't seem to show anything??

Your serial number indicates its a 448.
