What Kioti would upgrade my Kubota L3200? DK40SE HST Cab & NX4510 HST Cab?

If I recall off the top of my head, the Kioiti's are turboed & the Kubota Grands were not. Don't remember about green. I had thought about that too a bit. So just to confirm, turboed engines are less affected by elevation than standard aspiration? Our place is over a mile up, although we are only at the foot of the Rockies. Those folks up from us definitely have it worse, heck I have a hard time breathing up there, no wonder an engine does.

I'd take a look at the Kioti webpage, but from what I understand it's legendary for not having the correct info, especially for some of the engine stuff.

Engines with a turbo pretty much show zero effects from altitude until over 10,000' has been my experience. A naturally aspirated engine looses about 3% of it's power every 1000' of elevation. So you would be looking at about a 15% reduction in power, just as you are with your current tractor. I'm sure that this contributes to your sometimes current lack of power.

I personally would not even consider a new tractor without having a turbo on it at your elevation.
