That's for sure, I bought a set for a 450 tiller in 2002 for $205.
Pro tip, just replace the sharp pointed ones.

So my JD 660 rototiller has 36 tines. It was time to replace and John Deere and Westward Parts were both quoting me about $36/tine. So I Googled the part numbers. What I learned from that is that all the tines available were made in Italy which makes me think that JD's and WP's tines were also from Italy.

I ended up buying times from Westlock Tractor Parts in Westlock AB. They quoted me $12.75/tine and when I picked them up the bill was for $11.50/tine. And yes they were made in Italy.

So use your head and shop around.

The real pro tip is, don't replace them until they break at the curve.

Another pro tip is, curved tines last longer that L tines.

I have never had a Deere tine break but I did have a Land Pride tine bend a little.

Once they get worn enough in the bend, they will break if you hit a rock/root/ or some other trash.

And with more than 2000 acres tilled, I've hit about everything there is to hit.
