'74 anything came from the factory that way. That had to be the worst time period for automobiles. Back then 100K was like 300K now. By that time you would have changed the points about 10 times, set the timing at least twice that much. Valve guides by 50k, and oil changes every three. Often you would have added at least a quart by then, if not 2 quarts.
Brakes were good for about 10k if you were lucky, and tires weren't any better.

They sure don't make them the way that they used to... Thank God!!!
