thx for that, never heard that version. we play that song at our jams all the time.My 1st 45 rpm record. I’m sure I still have it in a box somewhere in the shed.
anybody remember 4 track? that wasn't around for long. For my 1st car, that 74 Mustang 2 with rust holes so big I could reach into the car without opening the door. $650 bucks. Sounds cheap, but making $2.85 an hr. working early morning before school was quite an effort. The most important upgrade was my 8 track deck and my Realistic speaker set from Radio Shack.
great song! time to sweat! How about some of the popular educational, motivational and inspirational songs of old? My kids would never have remembered the war of 1812 if I had never played Horton’s song, Battle of New Orleans. Even with home schooling and private school, American history was kinda vague. It’s my understanding now that it’s currently not taught at all.
Jeez... he wasn't a Bulldog???Wasn't he that Bullfrog? I never could understand a word he said but he always had some mighty fine wine.![]()
Cool... though not exactly hand's free. Before 8 tracks, before 4 tracks, a friend of mine moved back from California in 1964 with a very nice 1954 Ford that he had a 45 player in. Everyone thought this was the coolest thing they ever saw.
