Yogi was quite a character. I'm not a big baseball fan, but I saw him (on TV) hit a home run, with a broken first finger (I call it your "point" finger), splinted and taped up and sticking out like a sore thumb (yeah, I said that). His Yogisms were great; I sometimes wonder if he made some of these statements intentionally. Here's another:

When I was in high school, one of the classrooms had a brick wall at the back of the room. The guy who sat next to me wrote that on one of the bricks. I was not yet familiar with that song, and I thought he was some sort of poetic genius!
