With the white leg it looks domesticated to me.

I dont know, a regular cat doesnt have front legs like that i would think and a pig surely doesnt have front legs like that. Whatever it is looks like its nursing something.

Since all we have to go by is the apparent size, coloration and general body shape, I have to go with pig also...and a not too big of one at that. Not having a clear view of the eyes, ears and tail basically leaves you with nothing but a good guess.

Are there pigs running loose in the area where the photo was taken?

Sure looks like a pig to me. Forgive my poor skills, but I believe I was able to pick out the animal shape from the background. MFDC5971.JPG

Being as how your in Texas and Texas has more pigs than cats I'm going with pig.

My first and last thought is that it is a small pig. There is too much body to the left side to be a tail of something walking to the right. I agree with the outlined sketch that it looks like a pig.

That is a cat with two white paws and white tiped tail. He is walking from left to right with his head turned to the left.
I was sure it was a pig. But now think you are correct.

I'll buy that.

If one can look at the picture in an abstract way the above description will suddenly focus.

You have 2 pans out there already. Put cat food in one, and corn in the other one. If the cat food disappears, it's a cat. If both tins are emptied, you have a pig. If both are empty, and the aluminum tin is eaten too, you have a goat. :)
