Hello all, new to the forum. I own a 1300 and am wondering; what is the small plastic bottle mounted between the injectors? It has a removable lid, it is empty and I cannot find a referance to it in the manual. Thanks for the help and a great forum!

I think it may be part of the thermo starts system.
You are correct sir! My son just found a vid on youtube with someone explaining how it works. From what I see you pour a little deisel in the bottle and turn the ignition switch to TS and it heats that fuel for cold weather starting, thanks for the reply!

There are 2 styles of bottles, the one like yours, requires that you manually refill it from time to time, the other is automatically kept full by the fuel returning from the injectors, both work elegantly, just one is a bit more bother than the other.
