Murph my dealer is in Thompson about 1.5 hrs from I-71and RT18. Danny and PJ Robison are good people and very helpful. Their number is 440-298-3318. There is a dealer in Canton if I am not mistaken . They were advertising in The FARM and Dairy this summer but I can not remember their name .

That's much too far for me, thanks.

The one in Canton is Cutter Power sales. I have noticed that they no longer list LS as part of their lineup. Error Iyhink the LS website is not up to date since this dealer is still listed. I have not called them to verify, just going by what I see.

Just "having a dealer near by" doesn't lend to brand sustainability As the OP said, lots of them are Mom N Pop shops. I've got one 5 min from my house with no shop to get a tractor in -- started as a small engine shop 2.5 yrs ago and added LS a yr later. Another 20 min from me lost his NH franchise after 59 yrs for not keeping enough inventory or improving his buildings, he went to TYM then switched to LS less than a yr after that. Third dealer about 45 min away, still a Mom N Pop shop but I have better feeling they'll be around but still unsure, they sold Landini before (not exactly a major brand). Another local dealer that sells Deutz, Landini and Branson passed on the opportunity to sell LS several years ago as he didn't feel the support was there he would need as a dealer. I remember reading in another thread about a dealer that was using "a buddy's barn" as his repair shop. Those are the kinds of things that lead to the uneasiness of a buyer -- including me. It's a tough nut to chew on either side of the fence.

To those of you that say you have a dealer with a hundred machines in stock, that's impressive. I'd be surprised if there's a TOTAL of 100 LS machines within several hundred miles of my place.

I see what you mean.
Massey-Ferguson is thinly represented in the northern part of my state. So are Kioti,LS,and others.
But my Kubota dealer has at least a couple hundred Kubotas, dozens of Bobcats, and more than a few Doosans.
I figure that Kubota having their western distribution center only twenty minutes away from my dealer may have something to do with that.

Only down-side to the P7010 is that it is not a power-shuttle ... just standard clutched shuttle. Not sure if that's important to you, but if so, you have to get the newer P7030/7040, or XU5065.

Power Shuttles are good but no way I would buy a new Clutched Shuttle. Having to push in a foot clutch is a pain unless you do mostly crops at single speeds.

Yeah, my experience with a shuttle was very enlightening. I definitely preferred the shuttle in some situations, mainly road travel... But, having to clutch for back and forth loader work really started pissing me off and hurting my knee. If I ever got a bigger tractor (if/when the day comes that I need to add a larger utility tractor for jobs) it'll definitely be either CVT (if that makes it's way into more models) or P.S..

Any new(er) brand is going to take time developing their dealer network. There are three LS dealers within 45min of me here in Michigan...but only one JD (a second is about a hour), one Case/IH, no New Holland, and one Massey. I think there are three Kubota dealers in the same distance, but I'm sure of at least two. There are at least two Kioti dealers within the same distance, and a couple not much farther away. I'm not even sure where the nearest Mahindra dealer is. I know of one Yanmar dealer, but they had exactly one tractor when I stopped by.

So, if there's only one JD dealer within 45min and three LS, does that mean JD has a weak dealer network? :D

Stay small and cheap! Less overhead less inflation! There's a reason that our tractors with premium features cost thousands less then others with basic features and is not due to lack of quality that's for sure! This is jmho!

You must be talking about Big Valley Tractor/Bobcat Central. I just went to work in their service department earlier this month. They do have a lot of inventory and seem to move a lot of it too.
