One could argue that to be true back in the 1940's and 1950's. If you define best as being versatile, a good value, etc.
You dont sell almost 90k tractors per year, for 6 years straight, if there wasnt something that people though was the "best" about it.
I dont think there is any other tractor ever sold that even come close to that per-year average.
I don't think we ever will see numbers like that again, tractors now are much more efficient, much much more expensive and with tractors like the 8n and a bunch of the older tractors still working I don't see a reason why the masses would flock to new tractors.
On top of all that, not as many farmers around now a days, I see multiple a year that sell there farm ground to housing developers or whomever around here and hang up there hat.
