What is the best 2 cycle oil?

I use any of the big 3 brands for oil. Dolmar, Husky, or stihl mix. It all just depends on where I am at when I remember that I am low and need to buy more.

AS for gas, we run high test 93 octane ONLY from marathon. Cause at leas around here for now, that gas contains NO ethanol.:thumbsup:

I use Husky or Stihl.

I was surprised a few years ago, when I had left over dirt bike gas; my saws hated it... I had been out riding my YZ250, and had left over gas using high grade motorcycle 2-stroke, with premium gas. Dirt bikes loved it. Saws would not do much more than idle on it. It was fresh too; mixed and rode on Saturday, was cutting wood on Sunday. Wound up dumping the chainsaw tanks, and then grabbing some Husky oil/gas fresh.

Then, the chainsaws ran great.

Weird, it was 76 premium, with Hi-Point 50:1 race mix. At the time, that was a very good dirt bike race mix.

I have been using Amsoil 2-cycle oils for 20+ years and never fouled a plug on anything from oil, now as for jetting issues, that is a different story. Also have never had any lubrication problems, cylinders, bearings etc. Typically use 89 Octane with Sta-Bil and non-blended *IF* we can get it.

I would GLADLY have bought Stihl oil had the dealer mentioned the warranty benefits and I actually HAVE some Stihl oil on hand.

For years I used just regular 2 cycle oil. I have just, last year, been using Homelite oil mixing it as called for the O34 and the Husky. I have wondered about the oil Baileys sells.
I just picked up my first bottle of Stabil.

Mistake made on the octane, It is actually 112 octane. I'm thinking of haveing it mixed half and half with 93 octane. So 1gallon of 112 and 1 gallon of 93 mixed with stihl ultra oil mix. would this be of any benefit?

give it to me-i'll run it through my 1964 muscle car- where was it bought at?
