The part about the doctor being a nurse is absolutely true. Because my wife had a baby this year, we have had all sorts of appointments, and I would say we saw actual doctors 25% of the time.

Remember being able to see your doctor TODAY? What happened to that?

"Doc, I may have a melanoma on my arm. I need it looked at fast."

"Good day sir and I hope you are having a nice day there in America. We are having wonderful weather here in Mumbai. The doctor will be able to see you in three months if you will be so kind as to repeat the information our system already has."

Around here they use PA's. But you still get charged the full Dr rate/fee.

Having surgery? You'll probably be handed over to a CRNA (certified registered
nurse anesthetist). However, cut me open, and I want the frigging
Anesthesiologist at my side. I appreciate the nurse going the extra mile for the
certification (and huge salary bump) but The Dr went through all the hoops,
residencies etc. Just another way the Dr can up his take home pay.....
"supervise" multiple surgeries at the same time....yea, that makes me
real comfortable, not.

Nurse Practitioners (NP) and Physicians Assistant (PA) started a long time ago.
My little town had a PA in the late 60's and a NP about a decade later.

Today's Peeve:
And I'm 99.999% sure everyone can relate...can't find sh*t!
The string trimmer I'm using just ran out of string. No problem because I have large spools of different sizes. I can picture it exactly where it was, but it's not there. No one stole it and I'll find it three weeks from now because then I've already ordered some and don't need it. Now I'll have enough to last me until 2125.

Don't get me started on that subject spent 2 hours finding the valves for my AC gauge set, I just had out less than week ago...... Turns out is set them behind something but on the correct shelf. Then a schrader valve destroyed my tool and itself. 2 more our to extract the pieces, and make a tool out of a bolt until I get one ordered. Thank god I still have the smaller set for tires, etc.
Some days ....

I HAD TO find a Primary Care Physician to get me on some blood pressure meds immediately..
I called 5 Dr offices on July 22nd for hypertension..
The FASTEST ANYONE would get me in was AUG. 18th.!!
Luckily I went to a Doc in a box and he gave me enough meds to tide me over until I could get into see one..
I even went a bought a BP cuff.. that’s how serious I’m taking this..
TOOO BAD, no one else is.!!
