I think there are 1000 more annoying things than that…..
A bit OCD aren't we? We never put out knives unless what we're eating might require it. Yeah, picky eaters can be annoying, but aren't we all picky about some things?I have a couple of pet peeves that revolve around dinner time. I do most of the cooking at dinner. In no particular order:
1. My wife deciding that she or the girls should unload the dishwasher, right when I'm in the middle of cooking.
2. Deciding that the time to get your drink is right when I put everything on the table and ready to plate it. So, the meal sits there getting cold while people finally get their drinks. Even though I continuously call out when the meal is going to be hitting the table.
3. Not knowing how to use a steak knife and act like you're trying to cut through the plate. Related: Dumping all the silverware (including referenced steak knifes) into the sink, so the sharpened blades of the steak knifes clang together and dull.
4. Not putting a knife out with the meal. Knifes aren't just for cutting, they help you push things onto your fork.
5. Not passing napkins out when setting the table.
6. Picky eaters. I think if you're a picky eater, you've never been forced to be hungry in your life.
Ahhhh ... you've driven I5 from LA to SFLeft Lang hogging in general happens on 40 west from Little Rock To Conway.
With the added bonus of the idiot hogging the left lane, 10 under the speed limit, and slamming on their brakes anytime someone starts creeping up on them![]()
I'm sure it happens out on most interstates. Across the country.Ahhhh ... you've driven I5 from LA to SF
I have an occasional house guest who does that, and it drives me crazy. Take two seconds to hit the cancel button for &%@* sakes.I was just reminded of another pet peeve.
When my wife stops the microwave with one or two seconds left, and doesn't hit the stop/cancel button. So, the next person throws their food in the microwave and starts hitting the "30 second" button or tries to enter a cook time, but find you can't, until you clear the remaining time.
I must be starting to get crotchety in my old age.Little things are starting to irk me.
Why don't biking enthusiast folks use bike paths running parallel to well traveled roads my property taxes helped pay for? Instead they apparently like traveling sometimes two wide on a curvy road not really even on the shoulder.
